During foaming, blowing agent is added to the plastic granules. The aim here is to achieve a weight reduction in the component. This process can be combined, among other things, with precision opening of the tool.
Multi-component injection molding makes it possible to produce components from several different plastics. We are a multi-component specialist for both 2K front headlights and 2K functional components.
In insert molding, metal parts are inserted into the mold and overmolded. This combination results in hybrid components that intelligently combine the advantages of both materials.
In the injection technique, cavities are created by injecting a fluid into thick-walled component areas that are still molten. Either GAS (GIT) or water (WIT) can be used as the driving fluid. Our know-how includes classic gas injection technology as well as secondary cavity and push-back processes.
